This new program was implemented by ISG-Telecom Consultants
 in 1999 to make it easier for ISP's to understand and
profit from becoming a CLEC.

Many clients, that do not have extensive telecom knowledge, have requested that ISG-Telecom Consultants take an equity position in their new telco entity. As a result, we listened, and subsequently created the following program. Here are the highlights:

ISG-Telecom Consultants will reduce it's consulting fees (usually between 20-30%) in exchange for a minority stock equity position in the new operation of between 1-5%.

In addition, Joseph Isaacs (Founder/CEO) will hold a seat on the Board of Director's of the new entity for as long as ISG-Telecom remains a shareholder of the entity.

Benefits to the new telco entity:
 

  • ISG-Telecom has a vested interest in the success of the new telco entity.

  • The new telco entity has the ability to use our services on a reduced basis, making it easier to complete the CLEC project, at a lower cost.

  • The telecom, marketing and business expertise of ISG-Telecom and its CEO become available to the new telco entity, after the CLEC is up and running, on an ongoing basis because of the Board seat. All ISG-Telecom industry connections become available to the new entity.

  • ISG-Telecom and the new telco entity become "partners" instead of meerly client/consultants.

  • ISG-Telecom and the new telco entity both benefit from the long term goals and revenues of the CLEC operation.

Note: Not all ISP/CLEC's will be accepted for this equity program. Certain financial requirements must be met and ISG-Telecom has the sole right to accept or refuse the ISP/CLEC into this program.
